Armidale City Heritage Tour
Join Armidale’s Heritage Tour, a leisurely 2 ½ hour guided tour leaving from the Visitor centre. Volunteer guides will give you a historical background of our city and will point out all the heritage buildings, cultural places, special gardens, schools and the university. Armidale City Heritage Walk
Discover Armidale’s heritage by walking around our beautiful city. Information on self-guided walks is available from the Visitor Information Centre. Whilst strolling leisurely on the heritage walk you will discover our magnificent cathedrals, churches and other significant heritage buildings.
Saumarez Homestead National Trust property
Guided tours through the homestead are available daily between September and mid June. The homestead closes for winter from mid June to the end of August each year. Self guided tours of the farm and gardens are available during opening hours. Call into the Visitor Information Centre for tour times and brochure. National Trust shop and tearoom are on site. Booloominbah
Booloominbah was built between 1886 - 1888. It is a magnificent former gentleman’s residence in the fashionable English style, designed by Horbury Hunt and surrounded by beautiful grounds. Today it houses the principal administration offices and meeting rooms of the University of New England. The grounds of Booloominbah are the site of all UNE Graduation ceremonies.
Aboriginal Cultural Centre & Keeping Place

University of New England Archives & Heritage Centre
